Dr. David Franz is a lifelong Virginian who did his\nundergraduate, medical, and residency training at the University\nof Virginia<\/a>.  He finished\nundergraduate work in 1988 as a member of the Phi Beta Kappa academic honor\nsociety.  Upon completing medical school in 1992, he chose to perform the\n5 year Otolaryngology residency training program in Charlottesville. He then\nmoved into practice in Fredericksburg in 1997.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dr. Franz is certified by the American\nBoard of Otolaryngology<\/a> and\nthe American Board of Sleep Medicine<\/a>.  He is a former Chairman of Otolaryngology at Mary\nWashington Hospital and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the\nFredericksburg Ambulatory Surgery Center.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
